17.34 mi in 01:19:08 hours at 13.15 mi/h on Bianchi Nironne 7. [Cycling] Crisp clear and cool day for a cycle ride down to the coast across the Shields ferry and then back through the Tyne Tunnel using the newly refurbished lifts (about time !!)

The Shields Ferry

This is a buoy recovered from the river - It now marks
the National Cycle Route Number 72 which is
Hadrians Way and runs from Ravenglass on the
Cumbrian Coast to Tynemouth.
And of course that's my lovely Bianchi
