Heading pretty much straight south across the Brittany peninsular from the English Channel to the Atlantic coast. I managed to find an old railway line which is mow an excellent cycle path which runs 52 km from Mauron down to Questembert but I turned off it after about 30km as it was taking me too far east. Instead I cut the corner which involved a punishing stint through the hill forested roads between La Chapelle le Caro and Grand Champ ( I wondered if doing the extra distance on the path would have been easier !)
Weather : The Usual - Dry, Cloudy & Cold, Wind = 10 mph NE, Temp = 37.4 F - 51.8 (Almost getting warm !)
