6.88 mi in 00:39:43 hours at 10.39 mi/h on Trek .. [Cycling] Another early morning commute - so early only 2 cars passed me all the way up to Newcastle. The roads looked like they hadn't been treated again and had lots of icy patches and extreme care was needed especially on bends - two of which I had a 'controlled slide' at Hebburn and on the low road in Felling. Coupled with stuff coming out of the sky that was neither solid nor liquid - it hurt as it hit your face but then ran off ... Lovely !!
