Anyway all that traffic wouldn't bother me on my bike p ha ha ha :-)

An then ..... PUNCTURE .. first of the year and nothing to fix it with - a mile walk to a garage and I found the air pump was out of order ... another mile to the next garage and the air pump wouldnt fit my tyre ... into tescos and a tube and inflator bought - 30 minutes later I was on my way on a nice ride to Tadcaster - little wind and quite warm for February.

No paniers on today so the ride was easier especially cornering.

The river Ouse is very high in York tonight - I had thought of cycling along Terry.s Road by the River but its currently about 3 foot below the river level.

7.34 mi in 00:30:16 hours at 14.55 mi/h on Bianchi Nironne 7. [Cycling] Cycle home from the game .... and what a game 4 - 0 down at halftime and totally outclassed then Arsenals Right Back has an absolutely stupid reaction to a tackle and pushes 2 Toon players over and is sent off.
After that it's Toon Toon Toon Toon all the way and in the end Arsenal just about hung on for a point.
I stopped at the Quayside on the way back to snap some pictures of the Millenium Bridge and the Sage as they looked so good.

The ride home was well.... no effort at all :-)

Built for the 1929 Great Exhibition in Newcastle's Exhibition Park this was
the Pavillion and there used to be a promenade over the lake - nowadays
it's a Military Vehicle Museum.

The wind got so strong I decided not to risk cycling back tonight - a fully laden bike with panniers isn't the most stable thing on a windy day.
